“Every student has a free breakfast and lunch available to them each day, as well as a snack or dinner meal depending upon their school. Each meal contains at least three of the five components: Meat/Meat alternate, Grain, Fruit, Vegetable, Milk. Our district follows Offer vs. Serve where students have the option to decline two food groups if they wish for Breakfast and Lunch. This allows them to take what they’d enjoy and helps us reduce food waste.”

“Students are offered a hot entree with a fruit, vegetable and milk. Dinner must be eaten on site before the student leaves the building or partakes in after-school activities.
